This tutorial was written on September 9, 2008 by Heidi aka Scrappin Brat. This tutorial is from my own imagination & any similarities are purely coincidental. Under no uncertain terms are you allowed to make money from anything produced from this tutorial, this is against my TOU's
Supplies
PaintShop Pro ( I’m using version XI but any version will work)
Tube/Image of choice ( I am using the beautiful faery artwork of Renee Biertempfel…Please do not use the same image unless you have a license to do so. You can purchase her artwork & a license from C.I.L.M www.creativeimagelicensing.com
Frame, paper, bow, & flowers are from my scrap kit called Petals & Lace & can be purchased at http://scrappinbratsplace.blogspot.com/
Mask that is included in the zip file here
Ready………..Here we go
Unzip your mask & put it in your mask folder within PSP & open the rest of your supplies that you’re going to be using & minimize them for now.
Open a new canvas 600x600 pixels
Copy & paste one of your papers onto the canvas (you can resize the paper to your liking)
Go to layers ~ load/save mask~ load mask from disk~ look for the mask I provided or one of your own choosing
With the following settings :

Over in your layer pallet right click on the mask layer & select merge group
Right click again & chose duplicate layer.
On the original mask layer apply a light drop shadow
Resize your frame then copy & paste it as a new layer onto your working canvas
Resize, copy & paste your image/tube that you’re using & move it under your frame layer
Click back onto your frame layer & using your magic wand click inside your frame
Go up to selections ~ modify ~ expand by 5 pixels
Click back onto your tube/image layer & then go back up to selections & click on invert
Now hit delete on your keyboard… this will remove all the excess outside your frame.
Maximize the big flower that you are using & resize it to a workable size
Copy & paste it & move it to the lower right corner of your frame
Open your flower vine & resize it then copy & paste it as a new layer
Make sure this layer is below your large flower layer & move it so the bottom
Of the vine is hidden behind the flower. Duplicate this vine & then mirror it
Move it to the top of the frame but make sure that this vine layer is under the original vine layer. ( see my tag as an example )
You can use your erase tool to remove any excess stem that’s showing. At this time you can also add a drop shadow to each of your flower layers
I used vertical & horizontal -1, dropped the opacity to 65 & the blur to 3
Add all of your copyright information as well as your license number if required.
Now you can add your name. I used the font Edwardian Script with 2 different shades of pink from my tube then applied a drop shadow of v=1 & h= -3
Opacity 64 & the blur 3.
Now go to layers & merge all… I also resized the tag by 85% & now you can save it.
I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial. If you have any questions please feel free to email me at scrappinbrat@comcast.net... I’d also love to see your
Results.
