Loving

This tutorial was written on February 9th 2009 by Heidi.
This tut is from my own imagination & any similarities are purely
coincidental.
No Linking or copying anything..
Under no uncertain terms are you allowed to make money from anything produced
from this tut, this is against my TOU's
Supplies
I wrote this tut
using PSP XI but any version will do.
Your tube of choice.
I am using the beautiful artwork of Olivia
You can purchase a
license from CILM
Please don't use the
same tube unless you have your own license to do so.>
Scrap paper, frame
and various elements (I used pieces from my Loving mini kit) which can be found
in the February issue of the AFX Ezine.
Your choice of font (
I used Lovers Quarrel)
Let’s Begin
Open a new canvas
600x600 and flood fill it with white.
Open the frame you
have chosen to use, copy & paste it as a new layer (resizing if needed)
Using your magic wand
click inside your frame & then go up to selections, modify, then expand and
expand by 5 pixels.
Do not deselect yet.
Open the paper you
have chosen to use (resize if needed, I resized mine by 15%) then copy & paste
it as a new layer, making sure it is below your frame layer.
Go up to selections
& then invert, hit the delete key on your keyboard (this will remove the
excess paper).
Open the tube you
have chosen & copy & paste it as a new layer, make sure it's below the
frame but above the paper, center your tube & then press the delete button
on your keyboard once again.
You can now select
none.
Next open the green
vines (or whatever greenery you have chosen, resizing if needed) copy &
paste it as a new layer.
Move the vine to the
right side of the frame. (See my tag as reference)
Duplicate this layer,
then image, mirror.
Copy & paste the
heart brad (resize if needed) & move it so that it sits in between the
vines.
Copy & paste the
pink rose (again resize if needed) & move it to the right side of the heart
brad.
Duplicate this rose
& then mirror it.
Copy & paste the
red rose (resize if needed) & move it to the right side of the vines &
move it above the pink rose.
Duplicate the red
rose & then mirror it. (see my tag)
Now chose one of your
favorite fonts & type out your name. I used Lovers Quarrel which is a pay
font and I cannot supply it. I chose a dark red for my stroke & pink for
the fill.
At this point you can
add a slight drop shadow to each layer if you so wish.
Add all of the
appropriate copyright and licensing info, merge all layers, resize if desired
and save.
That's it you're all
done!
I hope you enjoyed my
tutorial and I'd love to see your results. If you have any questions you can
